The MPF US Board of Directors brings together a diverse range of talented, successful individuals offering experience, insight, and connections from the culinary, business, social enterprise and social justice fields. Bryan Flodmand

Bryan is the Chief Financial Officer for the Melting Pot Foundation US as well as Chief Executive at Meyers USA. He works closely in the day to day operations of the Michelin star awarded Agern as well as the highly touted Great Northern Food Hall located in Grand Central Terminal.
Prior to his time with MeyersUSA Bryan worked in the consumer products industry for one of the largest As-Seen-On-TV companies in the United States as the Director of Finance & IT. Bryan began his career with Denmark's largest hearing aid and medical device company.

Bryan has an MBA from Rider University and currently resides in New Jersey with his wife and daughter


Chris Kossifos

Mr. Kossifos is a seasoned Information Technology Executive having worked in the private sector as both technical lead and principal executive for numerous high technology firms. He is also an investor in a variety of technology businesses and start-up ventures. 

Chris Kossifos currently serves as Principal Managing Member and CTO of CK Technology Group, an Information Technology contracting firm based in New York City. He is also President of Wanderport Networks a bespoke internet service provider operating in New York,New Jersey, Florida, Quebec and abroad and is CEO & Co-founder of Wanderport Africa, headquartered in New York City with subsidiaries in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Rwanda and Namibia. Wanderport Africa has embarked on a mission to ensure that the utility of communications and broadband internet is delivered to the developing world to drive economic and social development, as well as the global business initiatives recognized by first world nations. Educated at Pace University in Downtown Manhattan with a focus on software development and always with the entrepreneurial and “self-starter” spirit, Mr. Kossifos has been at the forefront of internet technologies since the early 2000s, focusing on network applications and services in the Hospitality and Construction verticals. Paramount to all of his undertakings, commercial or altruistic, is his firm philosophical belief that technology betters economies, quality of life and the spirit of any modern society.​


Claus Meyer

Claus is a world-renowned restaurateur and culinary entrepreneur. He is the mind behind the New Nordic Cuisine Movement and the co-founder of noma, rated the world’s best restaurant four times on the World’s 50 Best Restaurant list. He has hosted several Danish and international TV cooking shows and written numerous cookbooks. Meyer co-owns several restaurants, including Studio in Copenhagen, which received a Michelin star just four months after opening, as well as several bakeries, delis, a catering business, an orchard, a vinegar brewery, a coffee roastery and a cooking school for kids and adults.

Claus has relocated to New York City and last year established a food hall rooted in the New Nordic Cooking philosophy, Great Northern Food Hall, and the Michelin star restaurant, Agern, both located at Grand Central Terminal, as well as an artisanal grain, dairy, coffee and meat production program. In Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Claus has opened a small bakery, Meyers Bageri, an outpost of his Copenhagen bakery chain. Coming soon, Claus together with co-restaurateur Fredrik Berselius will open a new contemporary all-day restaurant, Norman, on Norman Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, located at A/D/O, a working space for designers.

Believing in food as a driver for social change, Meyer established the Melting Pot Foundation in 2010, and is Chairman of the Board of The Melting Pot Foundation US, founded in 2015.


Taj Bailey

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Mr. Bailey understands the impact of nutrition and exercise on the community. Atj began his career over 23 years ago and now is Co-Owner of Presher Fitness located in Chelsea. Taj started his career as a personal trainer, where he developed his philosophy in mind/body wellness. He is an NASM CPT, CES, PES, BCS, ACE-PT certified trainer.

Mr. Bailey has exceptional tenure and expertise in the fitness industry, and has a proven track record of
successful leadership and management skills. As part of his accomplishments in managing multiple company’s facilities, he developed and retained the highest producing staff in every company. His staff averaged more than double the company average. Taj is looking forward to applying his knowledge and success at MPF.
